Product Design 3D Artist (m/f/d)
📍 Remote
We’re looking for a talented 3D Product Designer to help bring our ideas into the real world.
This role is about more than just creating models — it’s about translating story into physical products that readers will genuinely connect with.
If you love design, books, and creating things that feel intentional and collectible, this might be your thing.
🖤 What you’ll be doing
Product Design & Development
- Create 3D designs and CAD models for our products
- Translate creative ideas into production-ready assets
- Develop concepts that align with our brand, tone, and audience
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with the team and the author to refine ideas and directions
- Bring your own creative input — not just execution, but ideation
Production Alignment
- Collaborate with manufacturers and production partners
- Ensure designs are feasible, functional, and high-quality
- Support iteration and refinement based on production feedback
✅ You might be a great fit if you:
- Have strong experience in 3D design and CAD modeling using tools like Blender, Free CAD or similar
- Have a sharp eye for aesthetics, detail, and product feel
- Can bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution
- Are comfortable working with production constraints and specs
- Enjoy storytelling through design (a huge plus if you love books / dark romance)
- Are proactive and able to own projects from idea to final file
✨ Bonus points (not required, but amazing):
- Experience designing physical consumer products (not just digital/visual)
- Experience working with manufacturers or production pipelines
- Interest in reading (ideally dark romance) and book-related products, collectibles, etc.
💼 Details
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetups in San Diego

- Option to travel together and help on-site (events, selling, setup, etc.)
Content & Research
- Research books, trends, and the romance market for potential collaborations
